The Fae Folk. The Good Neighbours. The Little People. Colloquially known as "fairies", they are nature's most ancient spirits that have been feared and revered throughout the centuries.

In this lesson, we’ll explore the roots and lore of the Fae Folk, specifically within Celtic, Norse, and Slavic traditions across Europe. From the mysterious Sidhe of Ireland and the land spirits of Norse cosmology, to the wild forest entities of Slavic folklore, you’ll discover how these spirits shaped daily life, ritual, and belief across centuries.

We’ll also examine the historical roles of the Fae—how they were both revered and feared, and how their stories have evolved from ancient oral traditions to modern magical practices. By grounding ourselves in the cultural and historical contexts of these traditions, we move beyond fantasy and into a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the Fae Folk.

Beyond lore, this class serves as a practical guide for working with the Fae in your spiritual or magical practice. You’ll learn how to approach them with integrity, emphasizing consent, reciprocity, and cultural awareness to help you engage with these spirits respectfully and responsibly.

This class is prerecorded, and can be played anytime, anywhere, and as many times as you want. Lesson is approximately ~30 minutes.
